Service Projects:

Local Community Projects

• American Red Cross Blood Drive in New Market
•   Twice a year, July and January
• Adopt – A – Forest
• Assisting the Forest Service by cleaning up 3 miles along the road in Crismans Hollow in the George Washington Park  Twice a year - in the fall and in the spring
• Thanksgiving Dinners
• Providing turkeys and gift vouchers to be used in two local grocery stores to needy families whose names are provided by the New Market Food Bank. In 2007, we provided 93 families with these dinners
• Food Pantry
• Our members donate either cans of food, paper products or cash to the Food Pantry once per month.
• Supporting the New Market Fire and Rescue Squads,
• New Market Rebels - sponsoring fund raiser (Cruise in September 2010) to         raise funds to purchase a new tarpaulin for the Rebel Park
• International Projects
• Shelter Box
• It provides critical shelter and warmth for up to 10 people and is dispatched immediately and directly to the people who need it most where a disaster occurs throughout the world.
• Polio Plus
• Help to finally eradicate Polio throughout the world.
