At the Board Meeting held August 8, the budget for the year 2011/2012 was discussed and it was agreed that projects we will support will include:

 Stop Hunger Now, $850; New Market Fire and Rescue $500; Kits for Kids $500; Thanksgiving Turkeys and Food Vouchers $1600; After the Prom (Stonewall Jackson HS ) $300; Rotary Youth Leadership Conference $1200; Shelter Box $1000; Polio Plus $1500; Lord Fairfax New Market Rotary Scholarship Fund $1000, Free Clinic $1300; Food Pantry $1300; New Market Library $500; Stonewall Concession Stand $500.  Total $12050.

These financial goals are dependent on our raising the necessary funds through our fund raising efforts which will include a Mystery Theatre Dand Dinner, a Box Social, Heritage Days, Car Parking July 4th, Golf Tournament, Members donations to Polio Plus, Happy Bucks and 50/50 (through we intend to pay for the Shelter Box) and an addition fundraiser to be finalised.
